Hi, I’m Jana, a German-American solo traveler with an insatiable passion for exploring the world! Traveling has been a part of my life since I was a teenager—first with my parents, and later on my own, carving my own path across the globe.
I’ve lived in Egypt and India, immersing myself in different cultures, before settling in San Francisco, California, where I built a family and raised two incredible children who share my love for travel. Even as life changed, my passion for adventure never faded. Today, I embrace solo travel, proving that exploration has no age limit and no boundaries.
Why I Travel
For me, travel has always been about experiences over material things. I live frugally and simply—my truck in 2025 is 25 years old!—so I can continue prioritizing my love for new destinations, cultures, and unforgettable moments.
